The Resource Directory aims to support organisations that are seeking accreditation by alerting them to resources (e.g. publications, websites and practical tools) that can assist them in meeting the National Community Housing Standards. Many of these resources can also assist organisations in continuously improving the quality of their service delivery, even if they are not intending to seek accreditation in the near future.

The resources are categorised according to the seven sections of the National Community Standards. In addition, generic resources which provide underpinning knowledge or relate to several sections of the standards are listed.

Many of the resources are freely available on the internet. To access these, simply type the web location into your internet browser and follow the instructions. Contact details for the organisations that produce the resources are also provided.

Please note that the resources listed are not created, controlled or approved by the Queensland Community Housing Standards and Accreditation Unit and are provided solely on the basis that readers will be responsible for making their own assessment of the resources listed. Community housing organisations are advised to verify all relevant representations, statements and information. Organisations are also advised to familiarise themselves with any copyright restrictions before they reproduce or adapt any of the resources listed for their own use. The Department of Housing does not accept liability to any person for the information provided in the directory or incorporated into it by reference or for loss or damages incurred as a result of reliance upon the material contained therein.

If you would like more information on continuous quality improvement and how organisations can engage with the Community Housing Standards and Accreditation system, contact the unit on Phone number 3225 1718 or email Email address chsau@housing.qld.gov.au.

Additionally, if your organisation knows of any useful resources that would benefit other organisations, or if you have developed your own resources to assist in your organisation's continuous quality improvement process, and are prepared to share them with the sector (whether free or for a cost), please contact the Senior Accreditation Officer, on Phone number 3225 1718 or email Email address chsau@housing.qld.gov.au.
