Continuous quality improvement and re-accreditation

Organisations that have been awarded accreditation status are required to develop a Quality Improvement Plan that addresses the recommendations of the Accreditation Evaluation Report, as well as any other issues that may have been identified by the organisation through the accreditation process. This Quality Improvement Plan will provide the framework for the following three-year cycle leading to re-accreditation.

The re-accreditation process is basically the same as the original accreditation process, i.e. self-evaluation, external evaluation and awarding of accreditation status. The process of re-accreditation reflects the principle of continuous quality improvement that underpins the entire National Community Housing Standards and accreditation system.

For more information on starting the accreditation process, view Getting Started: Self-evaluation. If you have any further enquiries please contact us.
